What makes a great live loudspeaker? Some important generalizations:
Each loudspeaker unit (woofer/midrange/tweeter) has to cover its part of the frequency spectrum. For that frequency range, it should be very light, small, yet be of very high quality and maintain a low distortion (clear) sound and a very high output.
 
Our RS320 achieves just that. A rare design of the 80's in its upgraded version. Thanks to its efficient horn configuration, it projects sound beautifully a few dozen meters into the audience and sounds extremely clear and detailed for both live music and DJ's.
 
This 3-way design is comparable to Funktion-One Res 4, yet to our ears, it delivers a better sound experience, thanks to its midrange unit. It operates between 450-3000Hz to cover the critical hearing range, yet uses an extremely accurate 2" compression driver, unlike the much bigger, slower membranes of the other mentioned model. For a smooth top end, 2 tweeters share the load with a single, common opening. The RS320 makes a great choice for poor acoustic conditions, thanks to its very controlled dispersion.
